Fireman's Prayer for Steve Rucker
![]() |
At the end of October, San Diego was ravaged by wildfires. There was one fireman casualty, Steve Rucker, who died while trying to save the historic town of Julian. I dropped all of my Christmas projects and started stitching another Fireman's Prayer, this time for Steve Rucker's family. This was my first project on linen, and I was really pleased with the way it came out. It took a little getting used to, stitching over two, but I think I'll be using linen a lot more now. |
